Stone restoration including stone replacement, colour matching and repointing.

After a competitive tender it was decided to award the contract to restore the entrance stonework to the Lodge to Naughton Masonry. After standing some 100+ years in the Carluke Market Place it was necessary to address major issues, pointing, crumbling etc that had severely impacted on the pillars and surrounding stonework. We found that Naughton Masonry, through Daniel and his team, took a sympathetic and detailed approach with the restoration work that was carried out, to bring the entrance back to its former glory. The attention to detail when reworking the pillars was impressive, with colour matching and replacement stone blending into the original equally so. Overall the standard of service and workmanship was in line with expectations – professional, delivered on time and within the agreed budget. A job well done and much admired by the Lodge brethren and visitors. Keep up the good work.
